We started dating after only about a week or so of knowing each other, and we hit it off pretty well! Basically our entire relationship has been long distance, in the beginning it was NY to NC, then we lived together for about 2ish months in NC, and now its NY to Afghanistan. It started out as a tough relationship to me because I was never familiar with long-distance relationships but I wouldn't change a single thing about it! Well after living together for a bit he proposed to me and we have been engaged since April, and our wedding is January 14th, 2012. it's slowly approaching! :)
Our first Marine Corps Ball was November 2010 and it was a lot of fun, well we actually weren't there for a long time because we left to go to his parents house so I could meet them for the first time, but being with him all dressed up was so fun! I cant wait until we can go to the next ball together, looking forward to it so much!
My life changed for the better once my Marine was introduced into my life and I may not have been able to have a lot of time with him so far but that will soon change when he returns home from deployment and our journey together continues! :)
-It wasn't as long of a blog as I hoped but it's 1:30 in the morning and I'm getting way too tired to concentrate anymore. But tomorrow's a whole new day! :)
